We are…

… the Great Lakes Women’s Soccer League
a USSF affiliated league run by volunteers
open to all adult women
– we have both 18+ and 30+ divisions –
with A/B/C and Premier levels of play within the age divisions

Official league play is outdoor, one summer season per year, June – September
We occasionally run a recreational unofficial outdoor fall session, too

Games are Sunday evenings (5pm or 7pm) and occasionally on weeknights

Teams are located throughout Metro-Detroit including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb ​and Washtenaw counties

    Scholarships for Referee Training and Recertification

    That’s right… GLWSL will reimburse females (age 13 and up) who wish to become certified as a USASA game official. Likewise, GLWSL will reimburse you for the costs of keeping your certification current and in good standing.

    Why?

    Because seeing women officiate games inspires current and future players. Just like seeing women play and coach inspires.

    We ask that you be a Michigan resident. Or, if you aren’t a Michigan resident, that you be committed to playing and/or officiating in Michigan.

    The referee training and certification classes that we’re talking about are those offered by the Michigan Soccer Association’s Referee Committee. Please note: GLWSL only reimburses for the class registration fee. We do not reimburse for other fees such as background checks.
